Pintrest

I have just recently discovered the craze of Pintrest. I now understand the craze. It's fabulous! I could spend all day searching fun crafts or recipes or cute houses. I love it. I want to become so much more crafty. Pintrest inspired this craft I just did. It's a little bit girly, but I am thinking spring. It's just paper strips on an old wooden board. It's not as cute as my inspiration, but it'll do for now.

9 MONTHS

In honor of being 9 months, I did a little photo shoot. She smiles at everyone, except when I try to take her picture, and it was pretty difficult because she would not stay still. A lot harder then taking pictures of a immobile baby! She turned 9 months on Christmas day so here she is in her Christmas tutu and a few other pictures to share.
At 9 months she can now:
*pull herself to standing (falling over included)
*Crawl up stairs
*Stand up in her crib at night and cry and cannot figure out how to sit back down
*Also actually sleeps in her crib instead of the bassinet which proved to be dangerous for babies who can sit up. :(
*Loves to wave at people (looks more like the sign for milk though, but it's not.) We had some Kirby vacuum sales men come to our house the other night and though we can't afford a $1500 vacuum, we couldn't let them leave without cleaning our old gross light tan carpet. Emilee waved at them and clapped while they were there.
* Loves attention and does not like to be alone. Maybe that's my own fault for giving her my undivided attention for the first majority of her life.
*Loves to dance! I can hum or sing and she will start bouncing around dancing. It's pretty cute. Grandma sings "dancing baby dancing baby" and she is happy as can be!
Told ya she wouldn't smile for me. Serious, but still seriously beautiful.
Love her cheeky smile

Red and gold christmas tree. Just lovely!

Daniel's Christmas. The present he loved most was probably his new golf club (he bought himself). Golf and Scott trade are his new obsessions, hence the stock investing books. He got lots of new golf balls and golf tee's. His one and only present from me was a new i-pod!

Emilee gets spoiled. New clothes, tons of Disney DVD's, laptop toy, musical walker, books, cups, pajama's, etc. etc. etc.

Christmas

Christmas this year was great, I felt so blessed and received so much! Because of Emilee's appointment at Primary's we spent the days before Christmas and Christmas day in Salt lake with the McMillan's instead of driving the 3 hour drive more then we had to. We went to the family party, decorated the tree, watched "It's A Wonderful Life" while wrapping the presents on Christmas Eve (that's a true McMillan procrastination tradition!) had a wonderful breakfast at Ben and Julia's house and enjoyed going to church with them. We got Phineas the whole cowboy outfit; hat, little gun and stick horse. I loved it, even if he didn't. That was so fun!
I had Christmas morning pictures but apparently putting your memory card in a different device will erase all your previous pictures! Oops! Now I know not to do that. So I know these pictures aren't as fun as in the moment pictures, but it shows all the loot we got.
My loot: new boots, sweat shirt actually from New York, game, sweaters, a Cricut (so excited to get crafty!), a photo book from Julia telling the story of me and Daniel that was so cute I wanted to cry, another game, Pirates movie, gift cards, and a camcorder!

Em's excited face. She liked her laptop from Grandpa Bryce and Grandma Dawna. She bobs and bounces to the music.
